The Minor Pentatonic Scale
|
Our next example shows how to use the pattern as a minor scale. Again, like
bar chords, these too can be moved up or
down the guitar neck into any position. To use this scale over a minor chord, place your
first finger on the root note on the sixth string and play the scale in that
position.

This pattern in this position may be used over the Amin chord or a song in the key
A minor.
To change to another minor key or chord, simply slide your first finger to the
root note of the new key or chord and play in the new position.
